Job summary

HIGHWAY INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a WSH Coordinator to coordinate health and safety systems across multiple sites in Singapore. You will conduct inspections, report incidents, and help implement emergency plans while ensuring compliance with the WSH Act.

The role requires an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B), 1–2 years of construction experience, proficiency with MS Office, and a valid driving licence with own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience preferably in Construction.
• Strong knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferably with driving / motorbike licence and own vehicle.
• Able to commit running different job sites island wide.
• Working hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm, 5.5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health & safety systems across the organisation.
• Conduct periodic inspections to verify risk controls are observed.
• Investigate and report WSH incidents and support emergency plans.
• Work on-site as required.
• Be practical and meticulous in observing hazards and acting decisively.
• Deploy WSH programmes and manage performance.
• Oversee business continuity and safety management systems.
• Promote environmental, health & safety awareness among workers.
