Job summary
GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and monitor WSH and Environmental Management Systems at construction sites. You will conduct daily site inspections, maintain safety records and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
The role requires 3+ years of WSH experience (2+ years on site) and a Safety Coordinator or Advanced WSH certificate, with strong knowledge of WSH Act and related standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of WSH experience, with at least 2 years on a construction site.
- Safety Coordinator Certificate or Advanced Certificate in WSH.
- Knowledge of WSH Act, regulations and applicable legal requirements.
- Familiar with WSHMS.
- Familiar with OHSAS 18001:2007, SS 506:2009 and ISO 14001.
- Good understanding of construction works across trades.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor WSH and Environmental Management Systems at construction sites.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain safety records.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with WSH Act and safety procedures.
- Review risk assessments and recommend corrective measures.
- Report and investigate site incidents with the WSH Officer.
- Attend EHS coordination meetings and assist in safety issue resolution.
- Promote continuous improvement of site safety practices.
