Job summary

SWIA PTE. LTD. seeks a WSH Coordinator to manage safety and health at construction sites in Singapore. You will advise occupiers on practicable safety measures and help implement controls to minimize hazards while coordinating with authorities on EHS matters.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act. You will administer the SHMS and conduct on-site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field with 2+ years of relevant experience as a WSH Coordinator.
• Knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act (or local equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Advise occupiers on reasonably practicable safety measures.
• Assist in implementing measures to minimize hazards and risk at the work site.
• Inspect equipment/procedures and recommend remedial actions.
• Investigate incidents and advise on remedial controls.
• Collaborate with authorities on EHS matters.
• Maintain and implement SHMS in line with legislation and audits.
• Conduct environmental inspections to ensure a clean, healthy site.
• Ensure Environmental Control Programme is monitored and followed.
