Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior workshop or supervisory experience is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate machine repair jobs by assessing repair needs, prioritizing tasks, and determining repair methods to ensure efficient workflow
• Plan and maintain realistic repair and maintenance schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workshop productivity
• Oversee the overall flow of work in the workshop to ensure timely completion of repair jobs
• Assign daily tasks to technicians and monitor job progress to maintain quality and efficiency
• Prepare task sheets, job records, and simple reports using computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, email) for management review
• Track spare parts, tools, and materials required for each job to support uninterrupted repair operations
• Identify and report delays, breakdowns, or issues promptly to management for timely resolution
• Support management with daily workshop operations and administrative tasks
