Job summary

Grand Cru Wine Concierge is seeking a Retail Specialist to deliver a premium wine retail and dining experience. You will blend wine sales, customer service, and food & beverage service across product recommendations, events, and daily wine bar operations.

The role requires 1+ year in retail, hospitality, or luxury customer service, with wine knowledge and strong communication. Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail, hospitality, wine, or luxury customer service experience.
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn about wine regions, varietals, and producers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a proactive sales mindset.
• Able to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Proficient in basic computer and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in selecting wines, spirits, and related products.
• Provide personalised product recommendations based on customers' preferences and occasions.
• Promote retail products, memberships, and events while achieving sales targets.
• Deliver a warm, attentive, and professional customer experience at all times.
• Process sales transactions using the POS system and maintain retail areas.
