Job summary

The Straits Wine Company in Singapore is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service, drive sales, and support smooth store operations in a dynamic wine retail environment.

You will assist customers with wine selections, upsell premium products, operate the POS system, handle cashiering duties, and maintain shelves and displays to ensure a welcoming, organized shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or sales experience preferred, especially in wine or F&B industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers.
• Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting wines and provide tailored recommendations.
• Upsell premium wines and related products to increase sales.
• Promote promotions, memberships, and events to boost engagement.
• Operate POS system and handle cashiering duties accurately.
• Maintain shelves, displays and wine racks for visual appeal and storage standards.
• Attend training sessions and wine tastings to develop product knowledge.
• Collaborate with team to support store operations and feedback loop.
