Job summary

Raffles Hotel Singapore is seeking a wine service professional to join our Food & Beverage team. You will deliver friendly, efficient wine service, present options, take orders, and upsell by the glass or bottle while ensuring correct glassware and serving temperature.

You will be well presented, adhere to grooming standards, greet guests warmly, and tailor service to guest requests using a Heartist approach.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma in Hospitality or related field.
Experience in wine is an advantage (e.g. wine knowledge, wine sales).
6–12 months in a wine service position, or similar operations.
Service or retail experience is beneficial.
Interpersonal skills and effective communication in English.
Presentable and well groomed; enthusiastic and energetic.

Responsibilities

Delivers friendly and efficient wine service (correct glassware, temperature, etc.).
Assists Sommelier in offering wine options and taking orders.
Upsells wine by the glass and bottle; provides after-meal service.
Greets and farewells guests in a friendly, courteous manner; adheres to grooming standards.
Uses a Heartist approach to personalise service and meet guest requests.
