Job summary

QUARTAUT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Sommellier to deliver exceptional wine service and pairing recommendations. You will greet guests, present menus and wine lists, and manage orders with a focus on wine pairings that enhance dining experiences.

The role requires strong wine knowledge, especially Burgundy, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced luxury dining setting. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive knowledge of wines, especially Burgundy wine.
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate top-notch service quality greeting and seating guests, presenting menus and wine lists, taking and delivering orders.
• Possess commanding knowledge of the wine list and menu to recommend pairings based on customer preferences.
• Cater to guest wine needs during dinner service, including tastings and pouring/refilling wine glasses.
