Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced welder to perform manual welding of small-bore tubes, predominantly 316 stainless steel, for assigned projects and customer-specific assemblies.

You will prepare, cut, deburr, fit-up, tack, purge, and weld stainless steel tube assemblies in accordance with procedures, drawings and customer specifications, and support orbital welding activities when required. Safety and PPE usage are emphasised at all times.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands on welding experience.
• Relevant welding certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual welding of small-bore tubes (316 stainless) for assigned projects and customer-specific assemblies.
• Prepare, cut, deburr, clean, fit-up, tack, purge and weld stainless steel tube assemblies per procedures and drawings.
• Carry out certified tube welding activities per welding qualifications, procedures and customer requirements.
• Inspect own welds against acceptance criteria (visual, cleanliness, alignment, purge quality).
• Support orbital welding activities (equipment prep, setup, operation support, troubleshooting, inspection).
• Ensure all welding activities are performed safely with PPE and safety requirements.

• Perform manual welding of small-bore tube, predominantly 316 stainless steel, for assigned project, production, and
• customer-specific assembly work.
• Prepare, cut, deburr, clean, fit-up, tack, purge, and weld stainless steel tube assemblies in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, weld maps, job instructions, and customer specifications.
• Carry out certified tube welding activities in accordance with applicable welding qualifications, approved welding procedures, Quality System requirements, and relevant customer or project requirements.
• Inspect own completed welds against defined acceptance criteria, including visual weld quality, cleanliness, alignment, fit-up, purge quality, workmanship, and other applicable inspection requirements.
• Support orbital welding activities where required, including equipment preparation, set-up, operation support,troubleshooting, and inspection, subject to training, certification, and job requirements.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication activities are performed safely, with required PPE correctly used, welding equipment handled properly, and applicable workplace safety requirements followed at all times.
