KMS INDUSTRIAL (1997) PTE. LTD. in Woodlands is seeking a skilled Welder to join our workshop team.

This full‑time role offers 5.5 working days and a starting salary around S$1,500 with potential overtime. You will weld using MIG, TIG, ARC/Stick on stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum, read drawings, prepare materials, and ensure quality, safety, and a clean workspace. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of welding experience.
• Must be strong and healthy.
• Overtime may be required.

• S$1500++

Proposed Job Scope:

1. Welding Operations (MIG, TIG, ARC/Stick)

• Perform welding on various metals (e.g. stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum) in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal components
• Carry out repair works by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
• Perform tack welding to ensure proper alignment before final welding

2. Flame Cutting & Material Preparation

• Cut metal sheets, plates, and pipes using oxy-acetylene or plasma cutting equipment
• Preheat workpieces using hand torches to prevent cracking during welding
• Use angle grinders, portable grinders, or chipping tools to remove excess weld, slag, or spatter
• Prepare materials by cutting and beveling edges prior to welding

3. Layout, Fitting & Interpretation

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Measure and mark materials using appropriate measuring tools (e.g. tape measure, square, calipers)
• Assemble components and set up jigs or fixtures for fabrication and production

4. Equipment Maintenance & Quality Control

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
• Perform basic maintenance of welding and cutting equipment (e.g. torches, hoses, tips)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:
