Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Welding Inspector/Cladding Operator to join the production team.

The role involves inspecting joined and fabricated metal products using welding techniques and interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols to select the correct welding process. You will monitor machines, ensure safety, and maintain quality per ISO standards. The candidate should have a high school diploma or welding diploma with at least two years of experience in cladding or welding

Qualifications

• Read and understand engineering drawings, welding symbols and WPS.
• Experience as a Cladding Operator or Welding inspector with API 6A, 2+ years.
• Ability to read drawings and raise non-conformance requests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect joining and fabrication using appropriate welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics for welding processes.
• Monitor multiple machines for safety and on-time delivery.
• Perform QA per ISO requirements and specifications.
• Conduct safety and risk assessments and prepare preventive measures.

Job description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Inspector during joining and fabricating metal and other well-head products through applying appropriate welding techniques.
• Interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process to ensure a standard of quality.
• Monitoring and overseeing multiple machines simultaneously to ensure safety and on-time delivery.
• Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing or engineering specifications and ISO requirements to ensure compliance.
• Conducting safety and risk assessment and preparing preventive and proactive measures to identify potential hazards.

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):

• Have high school or Diploma preferred in Welding.
• Have working experience as a Cladding Operator or Welding inspector Specially withAPI 6AProduct with at least 2 years.
• Should be able to read - understand Engineering drawing, welding symbols and WPS.
• Familiar with SMAW & Arc Specialties Equipment.
• Able to work in shift under pressure.
• Have ability to raise non-conformance request.
