Job summary

ST Engineering Land Systems Ltd. is seeking a Welding Inspector to perform visual inspection, verifications, and NDT per test plans and WPS. The role requires coordinating with relevant departments to address quality issues and to maintain inspection documentation.

The candidate must hold VT/PT/MT Level II, UT/PAUT Level II, AWS CSWIP/CWI or PCN credentials, pass Visual Acuity tests, and communicate in basic English. Night shift and OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Must have VT/PT/MT Level II and UT/PAUT Level II certifications.
• Welding Inspector certification such as AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 required.
• Pass Visual Acuity Test as per industry standards.
• Ability to prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in welding inspection.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.


• Good knowledge of ISO 9606 and ISO 5817 standards.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, for preparing inspection reports and documentation.


• Possess VT/PT/MT Level II certification (ASNT or PCN).


• Possess UT/PAUT Level II certification (PCN).


• Possess a Welding Inspector Certification such as AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1.


• Successfully passed a Visual Acuity Test in accordance with applicable industry standards.


• Able to work independently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Able to communicate effectively in basic spoken and written English for work-related communication and report preparation.


• Able to work rotating night shifts and overtime when required to support operational needs.
