Job summary

St Engineering is seeking a certified Welding Inspector to ensure weld quality across production processes. You will perform visual inspections, verify jigs, and oversee NDT per test plan and WPS, while sustaining meticulous inspection records.

The role requires Level II certifications in VT/PT/MT and UT/PAUT, with strong ability to read drawings, work independently, and communicate in English for reports and handovers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in welding inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Possess Level II VT/PT/MT, UT/PAUT PCN; Welding Inspector Certifications AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1.

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of ISO 9606 and ISO 5817 standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, for preparing inspection reports and documentation.
• Possess VT/PT/MT Level II certification (ASNT or PCN).
• Possess UT/PAUT Level II certification (PCN).
• Possess a Welding Inspector Certification such as AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1.
• Successfully passed a Visual Acuity Test in accordance with applicable industry standards.
• Able to work independently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to communicate effectively in basic spoken and written English for work-related communication and report preparation.
• Able to work rotating night shifts and overtime when required to support operational needs.
