Job summary

Finetec Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Welding Supervisor to oversee daily welding and fabrication activities, assign workloads to workers and monitor progress against drawings and specifications.

You will check weld quality, ensure proper procedures, maintain safe working conditions, coordinate with production and engineering teams, and report progress, quality issues and delays to management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in welding, metal fabrication, mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Good knowledge of MIG, TIG and ARC welding.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, quality requirements and inspection.
• Able to supervise daily production and allocate work to workers.
