Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Technician in Singapore to support warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle goods receiving, inventory movement, material issuance, and shipment preparation while ensuring safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, FIFO inventory, container inspections, and coordination of material movements between production, warehouse locations, and external sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of warehouse/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Singapore Forklift License is required.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, store, and issue materials.
• Verify orders, invoices, and expiry dates.
• Pick, pack, load, and prepare shipments for local and export deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Move and replenish resin materials and chemicals.
• Maintain FIFO and conduct cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate material movement between production areas, warehouse locations, and external warehouses.
• Inspect containers and ensure proper loading for outbound shipments.
• Perform routine housekeeping, rack inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, environmental requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Technician to support warehouse and logistics operations within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for goods receiving, inventory movement, material issuance, shipment preparation, forklift operations, and ensuring inventory accuracy while complying with safety, quality, and GMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, unloading, storage, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods.

• Verify delivery orders, invoices, shipping documents, expiry dates, and inventory transactions against system records.

• Conduct picking, packing, loading, and shipment preparation for local and export deliveries.

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Handle movement and replenishment of resin materials, chemicals, and warehouse inventory.

• Maintain FIFO practices and ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.

• Coordinate material movement between production areas, warehouse locations, and external warehouses.

• Conduct container inspections and ensure proper loading practices for outbound shipments.

• Perform routine warehouse housekeeping, racking inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, environmental, and company compliance requirements.

• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations within a manufacturing environment.

• Valid Singapore Forklift License is required.

• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems will be an advantage.

• Experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

• Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling activities.

• Team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and strong safety mindset.
