Job summary

Becton Dickinson Medical (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Production Technician 1 to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality medical devices while complying with safety and quality standards.

You will perform in-process checks, document results, and support GMP/ISO compliance in a fast-paced production setting. The role requires basic reading of technical drawings, good dexterity, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or NITEC in a relevant technical field (e.g., Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology).
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment according to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspections, documenting results accurately.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions, escalating complex issues to senior technicians or engineers.
• Prepare and set up materials and components for production runs.
• Complete production records, batch records, and other relevant documentation diligently.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO standards and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Job Summary**
