Job summary

BD is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Technician to support warehouse and logistics operations at the Tuas Plant in Singapore. You will handle goods receiving, inventory movement, material issuance, shipment preparation, forklift operations, and ensure inventory accuracy in a GMP-compliant environment.

This role requires at least 3 years in warehouse operations in manufacturing, a Singapore forklift license, and familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Singapore Forklift License is required.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems or warehouse management systems will be an advantage.
• Experience in receiving, shipping, inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling activities.
• Team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, unloading, storage and issuance of raw materials and finished goods.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, shipping documents, expiry dates and inventory transactions against system records.
• Conduct picking, packing, loading and shipment preparation for local and export deliveries.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle movement and replenishment of resin materials, chemicals and warehouse inventory.
• Maintain FIFO practices and ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
• Coordinate material movement between production areas, warehouse locations and external warehouses.
• Conduct container inspections and ensure proper loading practices for outbound shipments.
• Perform routine warehouse housekeeping, racking inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, environmental and company compliance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
