Job summary

Chanel is seeking a professional to support our Fragrance and Beauty operations in the Singapore Distribution Center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and working in proximity with the customer service team, you will develop excellency in operational support to delight our clients, and agility to meet the business requirements.

You will lead the day-to-day operations of the distribution center team with a hands-on mindset, delivering the best service, agility and lead-time to the retail

Qualifications

• Leadership, collaboration and people management skills
• Spoken and written English
• High energy to manage day to day operations and staff development
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Familiarity with WMS systems

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound, outbound and inventory activities within the assigned team to ensure operational targets are achieved.
• Ensure perfect service with best-in-class order fulfillment, reasonable inventory level and healthy stock turnover for both merchandise and non-merchandise in the warehouse
• Champion compliance with Health & Safety, security, housekeeping, 5S and quality standards within the assigned operational area
• Support the creation and implementation of operational SOPs and ensure team adherence to established processes and work instructions
• Promote the highest standards of inter and intra team communication, and to deliver operational and customer service excellence within own team and cross functionally
• Lead day-to-day operations of the Fragrance and Beauty distribution center team with a hands-on mindset, delivering the best service, agility and lead-time to the retail team while supporting team development

About The Role

We are seeking a professional to support our Fragrance and Beauty operations in our Singapore Distribution Center. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and working in proximity with the customer service team, you will develop excellency in operational support to delight our clients, and agility to meet the business requirements.

• Manage and lead an effective and cohesive team which can work towards the target, and to monitor the performance and productivity of the team in achieving our brand performance, financial health, leadership & people strength, sustainability and client engagement objectives
• Motivating and encouraging teamwork within the workforce and provide proper coaching and focus staff development for the team
• Coordinate daily workforce allocation and operational resources within the assigned area to support service level achievement and productivity targets.
• Support the resolution of day-to-day operational issues and elevate complex deviations to the Warehouse Supervisor where appropriate.
• Act as an enabler for the team by removing obstacles and supporting day-to-day success
• Foster a culture of psychological safety where team members feel comfortable sharing feedback, raising concerns, and contributing ideas

Warehouse Management

• Regularly report key operational updates to the Warehouse Supervisor and highlight any risks or improvement opportunities
