Job summary

Hong Xin Da Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the Logistics Manager in supervising daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution activities in Singapore.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with emphasis on process improvements and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Supervisory or assistant management experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation and logistics processes.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate schedules to meet targets.
• Coordinate transportation and delivery activities for timely, cost-effective shipments.
• Prepare monthly budget reports and monitor logistics expenses.
• Support procurement, sales and production teams for smooth inventory flow.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
