Job summary

Hitachi is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing and shipping processes in our Singapore operation.

You will manage stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure compliance with ISO9001/14001/45001 while maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse. Strong leadership and ERP/WMS experience are essential to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Valid Singapore forklift licence/certification.
• Hands-on inventory management and warehouse processes experience.
• BizSAFE Level 2 Risk Management certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Track stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards.
• Maintain records and documentation per ISO standards.

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for processes and objectives set for warehouse functions. Manage daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping processes. Responsible for Inventory management - Track stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies. Ensure all functions within warehouse operations are executed in compliance with ISO9001 requirements Maintain proper records and documentation in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards Enforce workplace safety and health regulations, inspect equipment, and maintain a clean workspace. Any other tasks assigned by management.

Knowledge and/or Skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory and people management experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Sound understanding and practical application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Proficient in the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to identify operational issues, assess risks, and proactively
• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and systematic, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Possesses a logical and methodical approach to managing warehouse operations and processes.
• Strong team player with the ability to foster collaboration and build a positive, high-performing work environment.
• Valid certification and hands-on experience in operating reach trucks, stock pickers, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and operational excellence.

Education and Work Experience

• Diploma in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, with proven experience in leading warehouse operations, managing teams, and driving operational excellence.
• Possession of a valid Singapore forklift operating licence/certification issued by a Ministry of Manpower (MOM) accredited training provider.
• Hands-on experience in inventory management, warehouse processes, and material handling operations.
• Trained and certified in bizSAFE Level 2 Risk Management.
