Job summary

MERCK PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a logistics-focused role at our Tuas site to ensure safe and compliant movement of specialty chemicals and gases from receipt to delivery.

You will oversee third-party warehousing, coordinate shipments with Malaysia, and manage import/export documentation to ensure accuracy. You will conduct equipment inspections, support site safety and quality audits, and work with commercial, customer service, and logistics partners to meet every warehouse and delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or warehouse/logistics operations, ideally involving chemicals or gases.
• Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers and transport vendors.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards in chemical/industrial environments.
• Valid forklift license; familiarity with emergency procedures is a plus.
• Attention to shipping documentation, import/export records and invoices.
• Good English communication; able to read procedures and produce reports.
• Dependable team player with reliability and commitment to daily operations.

Your Role

In this role, you are at the heart of our Electronics supply chain operations in Singapore, ensuring that the safe and compliant movement of specialty chemicals and gases runs seamlessly from receipt to delivery. You will oversee third-party warehouse operations, coordinate cross-border shipments between Singapore and Malaysia, and manage import and export documentation with precision. You will conduct daily equipment inspections, support quality audit activitiesto ensure full adherence to site safety and work procedures. Working closely with commercial, customer service, andlogisticspartners, you will help ensure that every warehouse and delivery requirement is met on time and to the highest standard.

Who You Are

• Prior experience in material handling, warehouseorlogisticsoperations ideally involving chemicals or specialty gasesenvironments is a plus.

• Experience coordinating with third-partylogisticsproviders, transport vendors, and on-site contractors

• Solid understanding of workplace safety standards and the ability to apply safe work procedures in a chemical or industrial environment

• Valid forklift license and familiarity with emergency response proceduresis a plus

• Strong attention to detail in managing shipping documentation, import and export records, and invoice processing

• Good communicationskills in English, with the ability to read and follow technical work procedures and produce clear operational reports

• Dependable team player with a proventrack recordof reliability and commitment to supporting daily team operations.
