Job Description
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in managing various tasks associated with afternoon operations. This position supports multiple in-building functions, including Dispatch, Delivery Change Request, COD, and internal delivery (same building).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the sorting and loading processes during the afternoon cycle.
- Inspect, repack, and follow up on in-building damages; onsite inspections may be required.
- Handle internal pickups and deliveries within the building.
- Manage night dispatch, Delivery Change Requests, self-lodge, and sorting of undeliverable packages.
- Ensure timely export shuttles in the afternoon and evening, with no volume left behind.
- Follow up with customers on undelivered packages to facilitate re-delivery.
- Perform warehouse scanning as needed.
- Serve as a backup for the PM Assistance Supervisor during absences.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks such as self-lodge and self-collect, and cover onsite when necessary.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- General dispatch knowledge applicable to Singapore.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Physical ability to carry up to 20kg occasionally; most tasks are deskbound.
- Good work ethic and diligence.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers, including good email and phone etiquette.
This is a fully on-site role. The candidate will work 5.5 days per week, including alternate Saturdays. Working hours are 11:30 am to 10:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday.
