Job summary

BDP International in Singapore is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant / Senior Warehouse Assistant. The role focuses on maintaining SOP adherence, safety policies, and accurate inventory records while delivering excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities include inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reporting issues. A forklift license, English proficiency, and knowledge of SAP and in-house systems are required, with 2+ years of warehousing experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years relevant experience.
• GCE O & A Level, Diploma or Degree holders.
• Valid forklift license is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of forwarding, shipping and documentation.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOP for all tasks.
• Follow PSABDP Health, Safety & Environmental and Security policies.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.
• Report unauthorized personnel in the workplace.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure inventory transactions (inbound/outbound/put-away) are updated accurately.
• Meet inbound, put-away and outbound turnaround times and accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts, stock takes, and general housekeeping of warehouse and MHE.
• Escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

• To ensure all tasks performed are adhered to the SOP


• To strictly adhere to PSABDP Health, Safety & Environmental and Security Policies and Standards


• To report any unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace environment.


• To report any unauthorized personnel in the workplace environment.


• To provide excellent service to internal and external customers at all times.


• To ensure ALL inventory transactions such as inbound, put-away and outbound records are timely and accurately updated manually or into the WMS system


• To meet the inbound, put-away and outbound turnaround time (TAT) and accuracy


• To perform cycle count, stock take, physical count, housekeeping and general maintenance of the warehouse and material handling equipment (MHE)


• Escalate issues to superior if any


• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum Two (2) years relevant experience


• Good knowledge of warehouse primary functions

Qualification

• GCE O & A Level, Diploma or Degree holders

Knowledge/Skills

• Possess a valid forklift license


• MS Office, both in Word, Excel and Powerpoint


• IT System savvy, such as SAP and other inhouse logistics system


• Good Spoken and written English


• Ability to speak Bahasa, Melayu and Mandarin an added advantage


• Good knowledge of Forwarding, Shipping and Documentation
