Enecal Pte Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, packing and issuing materials. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and follow safety and housekeeping standards to ensure smooth dispatch and storage.
The role involves handling materials, operating pallet jacks, and assisting with loading/unloading while maintaining on-time and safe deliveries. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
The Warehouse Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the warehouse by receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and issuing materials, tools, equipment and finished goods in a safe and efficient manner. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring good housekeeping and proper storage practice.
Oversee and manage daily warehouse and inventory activities and cycle counting to maintain stock integrity and on-time dispatch
Receive incoming materials, equipment, tools and goods. Check quantity, description, condition and supporting documents against purchase orders or delivery orders. Report any discrepancies, damages or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor. Properly label and identify received items
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking. Report any discrepancies, damages or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor. Report low stock, excess stock or damaged/obsolete items
Store materials and goods in designated locations according to the warehouse storage system. Ensure proper identification, labelling and segregation of materials. Maintain accurate stock records and inventory movement
Pick and issue materials, tools and equipment based on approved requests. Pack and prepare materials for delivery or transfer. Assist with loading and unloading of goods. Use appropriate material-handling equipment safely. Ensure heavy or bulky items are handled using suitable lifting equipment
Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness within the warehouse. Ensure materials are stacked safely and securely. Maintain proper storage of hazardous, flammable or chemical materials where applicable
Complete receiving, issuing, transfer and delivery documentation. Update inventory records and warehouse management systems. Maintain proper filing of warehouse documents. Assist in preparing inventory reports when required
Assist other departments with material and equipment requirements. Support loading and unloading activities during deliveries. Assist with disposal or segregation of scrap and waste materials
Follow company HSE policies, procedures and Safe Work Procedures. Wear the required PPE while performing warehouse activities. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses and damaged equipment
Ensure safe operation of pallet jacks, trolleys and other warehouse equipment. Follow proper manual-handling techniques. Participate in safety training, toolbox meetings and emergency drills
Minimum Secondary School / N-Level / O-Level or equivalent. Entry-level are welcome to apply.
Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Experience in handling industrial materials, tools or equipment will be an advantage. Forklift licence/certification is an advantage where applicable.
Basic computer skills and ability to maintain simple inventory records.
