Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant (Scent & Care) to support daily warehouse activities, including receiving, sampling, storage, picking, packing and material issuance to internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a GCE N/O Level or equivalent, a valid SG forklift licence, and basic English communication skills. SAP experience and Microsoft Office proficiency are advantageous; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O Level or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a valid SG forklift licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication.
• Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in basic English (written and spoken).
• A team player with positive attitude, independent and committed.

Responsabilités

• Receive materials from vendors and ensure accurate recording of receipts.
• Perform sampling of incoming materials and store in designated locations.
• Carry out timely picking and issuance of materials to stakeholders.
• Support discharge of ISO tankers into storage tanks.
• Coordinate material transfers between production areas, warehouse and 3rd party logistics providers.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure accurate system inventory transactions.
• Adhere to company rules, SOPs and safety procedures.
• Perform periodic cycle counts and annual stock takes.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment per 6S standards.

Warehouse Assistant (Scent & Care), Singapore

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse and material handling activities including loading and unloading, physical receipt of materials from vendors and suppliers, sampling of incoming materials, storage, picking, packing and accurate issuance of materials to internal and external key stakeholders. This role requires close support to production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow, inventory accuracy, workplace safety, housekeeping and adherence to 6S standards and company procedures.

The Position:

• Receive materials from vendors and suppliers and ensure physical receipts are accurately recorded
• Perform sampling of incoming materials and put them away in designated storage locations
• Carry out timely and accurate picking and issuance of materials to internal and external key stakeholders
• Support the discharging of ISO tankers into storage tanks
• Support material transfers between production areas, warehouse and 3rd party logistics providers
• Liaise with other departments as required to ensure smooth warehouse and operational workflow
• Ensure timely and accurate system inventory transactions
• Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations and standard operating procedures
• Perform periodic cycle counts and annual stock takes
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment by adhering to 6S standards
• Perform any other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate:

• GCE N/O Level or equivalent with at least 1 year of working experience in warehousing.
• Prior experience in relevant industry will be an added advantage
• Must possess a valid SG forklift licence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
• Experience in SAP will be an added advantage
• Able to communicate in basic written and spoken English
• A team player with positive attitude, who is independent and committed
• Meticulous, structured and willing to learn
• Able to perform manual tasks and carry loads of up to 25kg
• Willing to work overtime when required.
