Job summary

PIL LOGISTICS PTE. LTD. is hiring for a warehouse role in Singapore.

The successful candidate will receive, inspect, and store goods, pick and pack orders, and load/unload shipments, using RF scanners and various warehouse equipment. The job includes inventory cycle counts, documentation, and maintaining a safe workspace, with training support for new hires. Experience in logistics, a secondary education, and forklift familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Secondary education (N or O level) required.
• 1–3 years in logistics or warehousing operations preferred.
• Valid forklift license preferred.
• Experience operating RF scanners and warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Store goods properly in the warehouse.
• Pick and pack outgoing orders per customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks/containers, securing goods for transport.
• Perform periodic inventory cycle counts.
• Record paperwork for shipments and inventory transactions.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (RF scanner, forklifts, pallet jacks, stacker, reach truck, or VNA).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Share knowledge with new team members and assist in training (OJT).
• Support teammates during peaks and challenges and report safety hazards.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
• Ensure all received goods are properly stored in the warehouse.
• Picking and packing outgoing orders according to customers’ requirements.
• Load and unload trucks/ containers efficiently, securing goods for transportation.
• Periodic inventory cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate recording on the paperwork and documentation for incoming shipments, outgoing orders, cycle count documents and any inventory transactions.
• Operating warehouse equipment based on operation needs, such as RF scanner, forklifts, pallet jacks, stacker, reach truck or VNA (Very narrow aisle trucks).
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Share knowledge and best practices with newer team members.
• Assisting in training programs (OJT) for new hires.
• Support and assist other team members during peak periods or when facing challenges.
• Encourage the reporting of safety hazards and participate in safety training initiatives.
• Perform any other tasks (job-related) as assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

• Secondary School education, N or O level.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience in logistics or operations functions, ideally in the warehousing operations
• Valid forklift license is preferred
• Able to operate the RF scanner, forklifts, pallet jacks, stacker, reach truck or VNA (Very narrow aisle trucks) is preferred.
