Job summary

Mercantile Pacific Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Singapore to receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and to prepare items for shipment. You will maintain accurate inventory and keep the workspace organized while following safety standards.

The role requires physical capability to lift up to 20 kg and to work in a team as well as independently, with flexibility for evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ level or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment to customers and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and manual tracking.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean, with shelving and storage areas.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill customer orders timely and accurately.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and pack goods for shipment to customers and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer systems and manual tracking methods.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing shelves and storage areas.
• Follow safety and security regulations and standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:
