Job summary

Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd. (SSMC) is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Supply Chain team in Singapore. The role covers receiving, bin-in, issuing and packing, plus maintaining accurate records in SAP and contributing to audits.

You’ll bring 1–2 years of logistics experience in a warehouse, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. Forklift license is a plus, and you’ll help uphold 6S standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O/N Level or equivalent.
• Preferably 1–2 years of logistics experience in a warehouse.
• Experience in semiconductor warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Proficient in SAP systems and MS Office applications.
• Forklift license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse operations such as receiving, bin in, goods issuance and packing.
• Highlight issues such as transitional damage, incorrect records, inventory discrepancies, etc.
• Perform SAP transactions and promptly record information in database when required.
• Prepare and compile assigned reporting or summary.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
• Other ad-hoc or periodical tasks such as scrap & disposal, cycle count, system reversals, etc.
• Maintain excellent 6S housekeeping standards in daily work activities.

We’re searching for an Warehouse Assistant to be part of ourSupply Chain departmentdiverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:

• Perform warehouse operations such as receiving, bin in, goods issuance and packing.
• Highlight issues and such as transitional damage, incorrect records, inventory discrepancies etc.
• Perform SAP transactions and promptly record information in database when required.
• Prepare and compile assigned reporting or summary.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
• Other ad-hoc or periodical task such as scrap & disposal, cycle count, system reversals etc.
• Ensure safety in all aspects, follow PPE requirements and timely escalation of safety issues.
• Ensure safe usage of pallet jets, ladders, all other material handling equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of information engaged during course of work.
• Maintain excellent 6S housekeeping standards in daily work activities.
• Maintain tight & responsive communication with the team.
• Enforce and adhere to established procedures in warehouse operations.
• Identify, participate and submission of continuous improvement projects.
• Take ownership in Operations Instructions (OIs) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

More about you:

• Minimum GCE N / O Level or Equivalent
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of logistics experience in a warehouse setting.
• Experience in semiconductor warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Demonstrated integrity and proactive work attitude.
• Basic understanding of computerized warehouse systems.
• Basic knowledge in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Words.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent housekeeping skills.
• Proficient in SAP systems & Microsoft applications
• Forklift license is a plus.
