What you will be working on

• To ensure system reliability, support production operations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize material flow and reduce downtime.
• Monitor and maintain AMHS performance to ensure maximum uptime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures in hardware and software components.
• Provide technical support to operations teams during AMHS issues or failures.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate system upgrades and migrations with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage spare parts inventory and critical component replacements.
• Analyze system data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies.
• Support layout changes and material flow improvements in collaboration with manufacturing and planning teams.
• Lead or support AMHS‑related projects including new equipment installation, software updates, and capacity expansion.
• Interface with vendors for system procurement, commissioning, and support agreements.
• Ensure documentation of all changes and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Work with IT, Equipment Engineering, and Facilities to ensure system integration and stability.
• Train technicians and operators on system usage and troubleshooting procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols including work at height.

More about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience with AMHS in a manufacturing or automation environment (e.g., semiconductor fab, warehouse automation).
• Experience with OEM systems such as Muratec, Daifuku, or SSI Schaefer is a plus.
• Familiarity with MCS, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of automation protocols (e.g., SECS/GEM).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work at height using ladders, mobile platforms and safety harness.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in Standard or swing shift.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (for semiconductor roles).
• Experience with cleanroom AMHS systems (e.g., OHT, stockers, buffer systems).
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
