CHAO YUAN PTE. LTD. is a premier Teochew fine-dining establishment seeking a versatile hospitality professional who can bridge receptionist duties with refined table service.

You will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced, elegant setting tailored to discerning guests who appreciate Teochew cuisine.

Training is provided for menu guidance and wine pairing, with opportunities to grow within an established, reputable restaurant in Singapore.

Qualifications

We are seeking a versatile hospitality professional who can seamlessly bridge front-of-house guest welcomes with attentive table service.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Guest Relations:

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and escort them to their table
• Answer phone calls professionally and manage table reservations
• Maintain and coordinate the reservation schedule, including VIP and private room bookings
• Manage guest waitlists gracefully during peak periods
• Handle guest inquiries with poise and professionalism

Table Service:

• Provide attentive, refined table service in line with fine dining standards
• Guide guests through the menu with confidence, including dish recommendations and pairing suggestions (Teochew cuisine training provided)
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain a high standard of service etiquette
• Handle billing and payment processing accurately
• Ensure table settings, dining area, and reception area are impeccably presented at all times
• Assist with opening and closing service standards
• Any Ad Hoc Tasks assigned

Requirements

• Well-groomed, professional demeanor with excellent guest-facing manners
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Able to multitask confidently between reception and floor duties
• Composed and gracious under pressure, especially during peak service
• Prior fine dining, hospitality, or front-of-house experience strongly preferred
• Basic computer/POS/reservation system skills a plus
• Able to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
• Bilingual (English + Mandarin/Teochew/other dialects) strongly preferred, given our guest profile
