Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior Trader in Singapore to oversee a trading book, manage risk, and drive revenue growth. You will coordinate with Sales, Research, and other groups to deliver disciplined trades and maintain robust governance. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Minimum 6–10 years in a related role, with licenses as applicable. Proficiency in Bloomberg, trading protocols, and booking systems is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of respective products and clients.
• Required licensing and registrations as applicable.
• Advanced analytical and numerical competency.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and pitch situations and determine suitable counterparties.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a trading book and generate revenues while managing risk.
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, CMand and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services and the broader business.
• Trade a book and deliver on budgeted revenues and manage book risk.
• Establish and maintain key relationships to deliver trades to the desk.
• Anticipate client demand in each product/market.
• Coordinate with desk analysts and sales to develop the franchise.
• Lead governance and controls with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Finance.
• Build a culture of responsible finance, governance and ethics.
• Assess risk/reward of transactions with regard to firm’s reputation.
• Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and governance plans.
• Obtain and maintain registrations/licenses required for your role.
• Assess risk when decisions are made, safeguarding Citigroup and assets.
