Job summary

Citi Singapore is recruiting a Vice President for the APAC Commodities Middle Office to lead risk and control across flow desks, ensuring accurate trade capture and timely settlement. The role collaborates with Sales & Trading, Operations, and control functions to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of commodity products and markets.
• Experience managing projects and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically around derivatives and securities transactions.
• Maintain position records in coordination with the trading desk and trade processing functions.
• Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, identifying operational risk, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts.
• Utilise data analysis tools to make recommendations to senior management for process improvements.
• Design and analyse complex reports to support control activities and identify trends.
• Interpret data and propose new products or platforms to improve pre-settlement processes.
• Minimise bank risk and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
• Escalate and resolve requests and issues, provide training to new team members.
