Job summary

Pacific Life Re seeks a VP, Pricing, Protection, India to lead the India Pricing team and shape pricing strategy within the global Protection Pricing function. You will drive pricing terms, governance, and cross‑regional initiatives while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting sales opportunities.

You will collaborate with Client Solutions, R&D, Underwriting & Claims Solutions, and Corporate Actuarial, ensuring risk discipline and high technical standards across pricing

Qualifications

• Deep experience in market-facing roles in (re)insurance.
• At least 10 years’ experience in life (re)insurance pricing.
• Ability to set and deliver compelling strategies in challenging environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and partners.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Proven track record of delivering major strategic change programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pricing terms accurately for in-force and new business opportunities.
• Lead the India Pricing team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure governance and internal controls for pricing standards.
• Collaborate with Global Pricing to align on methodologies and rollouts.
• Build and maintain client relationships to promote the Pacific Life Re brand.
• Contribute to proactive pricing strategy discussions and market initiatives.
