Job summary

Pacific Life Re is seeking a Director, Client Solutions with a focus on India, based in Singapore. You will own key client relationships, define client strategies, negotiate reinsurance treaties, and coordinate cross-department efforts to meet the Asia new business plan.

Expect travel to India and leadership of a high-performing team to drive growth. You will report to the Head of India and bring an actuary background with strong interpersonal and presentation skills to influence stakeholders

Qualifications

• Mathematics, Economics or Science-based degree; Qualified Actuary with at least ten years’ experience in the Protection market in Asia, especially India.

Responsibilities

• Own the management of existing client relationships and develop new opportunities.
• Coordinate with Protection Pricing, Underwriting, Claims and Marketing teams to maintain high service standards.
• Prepare and negotiate protection treaties and addenda; ensure smooth implementation.
• Lead treaty negotiation and ensure proper review before contracts are finalised.
• Travel to visit clients in India frequently and manage multiple tasks with prioritisation.
