Job summary

DBS Asia Central is seeking an SVP, Engineering Lead for Equities, Brokerage, and Crypto to drive the technical execution of our multi-asset trading platforms in Singapore. This hands-on, full-stack architect will lead cross-functional agile teams across Singapore and other regions.

The role emphasizes GenAI-native development, automated testing, and high-throughput Java backends with Spring Boot and React frontends.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading multi-region agile teams.
• Deep FinTech/crypto/ brokerage domain experience preferred.
• Expert Java backend with Spring Boot and React frontend expertise.
• Strong testing discipline including unit and E2E testing.
• Experience applying GenAI in native development for trading apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural strategy across React frontends, Spring Boot microservices, and Java backends.
• Drive GenAI-powered development and AI features in trading platforms.
• Mentor distributed scrum teams across regions for cross-border delivery.
• Enforce automated testing culture with robust pipelines and tooling.
• Oversee integration of equities, brokerage, and crypto/digital asset services.
