Job summary

Bank of America Singapore seeks a highly skilled engineer to evolve its electronic trading platform, focusing on Front Office workflows, pricing, and market data analytics. The role involves connecting cross-product components and implementing low-latency solutions to support global trading activity.

The ideal candidate will have deep Java experience, familiarity with AI-assisted development, and a strong grasp of modern trading systems, agile practices, and CI/CD in a regulated enterprise

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in eTrading domains (Connectivity/Pricing/Algorithmic trading).
• Hands-on programming in core Java; Spring/Guice; concurrency.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development and generative AI tools to boost productivity.
• Knowledge of modern trading systems: market data, algo trading, mass-quoting, order management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enhancements to the electronic trading platform for Front Office workflows.
• Improve platform efficiency through consolidation and low-touch integrations.
• Contribute to core foundational services used across lines of business.
• Collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to deliver shared components.
• Apply AI techniques to improve system reliability, monitoring, analytics, or automation.
