The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks a Vice President to lead Securities and Global Markets Oversight within the Compliance Department. This role oversees securities compliance for the ultimate parent company and collaborates with Compliance, Financial Crime, and regional teams in Singapore and APAC.

Responsibilities include advising on regulatory impact of new products, driving governance enhancements, and leading APAC OTC derivatives reporting oversight.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Regulatory or Risk roles.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for global markets, Singapore and APAC.
• Familiarity with Securities & Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, Banking Act, MAS regulations.

Aufgaben

• Provide oversight of securities and global markets compliance from the parent company perspective.
• Promote consistent application of compliance and AML standards across teams.
• Advise on regulatory implications of new products and joint initiatives.
• Coordinate governance initiatives and cross-entity reporting controls across APAC.
• Lead derivative regulatory reporting oversight and governance in APAC.
