Jefferies & Company, Inc. in Singapore seeks a senior Compliance VP to oversee and strengthen the firm's compliance framework. You will lead regulatory reporting, licensing, governance, and advisory efforts across Equities, Fixed Income, Research, and IB activities.

You will partner with senior management, regional teams, and regulators to implement change, build a robust monitoring regime, and promote a culture of compliance and ethical conduct in a lean team.

Competenze

• 10+ years of compliance, internal controls, regulatory advisory, audit or risk management in securities or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulations (MAS, SGX) and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with regulatory reporting, licensing, inspections and change implementations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to operate in a lean, collaborative team.

• Provide oversight and governance of Singapore regulatory reporting obligations.
• Coordinate regulatory enquiries, inspections, audits, and investigations with timely responses.
• Enhance and execute the firm's compliance monitoring and testing framework.
• Oversee Singapore licensing matters, staff licensing applications and annual returns.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls with regional alignment.
• Support and drive the firm's compliance training programme.
• Manage core compliance processes including personal account dealing approvals and gifts.
• Prepare risk assessments, dashboards, and governance reports for senior management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and lead new regulatory change implementations.
• Lead strategic compliance projects and regional/global initiatives.
• Provide practical compliance guidance to business and support functions in Singapore.
