Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for our Financial Institutions team. You will manage a portfolio of regional clients, strengthen OCBC's position as a trusted partner, and drive new relationships and transactions across Asia.

The role requires deep knowledge of transaction banking, trade finance, treasury, and capital markets, plus strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience covering banks, insurance, wealth platforms & credit institutions across the APAC region.
• Strong product knowledge of transaction banking, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Capital Markets is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior client executives.
• Mastery of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive) required.
• Recommended minimum 6 to 12 years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the global relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, primarily the Insurance, Wealth Platforms & Credit Institutions Segment.
• Strengthen the bank’s market position as a key “go‑to” partner in Asia.
• Drive new relationship initiatives, including developing new partnerships and originating new transactions regionally.
• Leverage the bank’s platform, leading cross‑functional teams to drive deal execution and revenue delivery.
• Conduct joint customer visits/calls with product partners or senior managers to understand client businesses and secure new business.
• Promote financial institutions products across Transaction Banking Services, Global Markets, Loans & Guarantee Solutions, and Debt Capital Markets.
• Monitor developments in market conditions, regulatory changes, country risk, and update relevant stakeholders.
