Job summary

DBS seeks a VP/SVP for E&S Risk in Sustainable Finance, Institutional Banking Group. The role leads identification, assessment, and mitigation of environmental and social risks across lending and advisory portfolios.

You will shape risk frameworks, perform high-level due diligence, and advise front-line teams to ensure adherence to Equator Principles, IFC PS, and Net Zero commitments. With 10+ years’ experience, you will influence governance, collaborate with CSO teams, and drive climate risk

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in environmental and social risk management.
• Degree in environmental science, sustainability, finance, economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Deep knowledge of international standards (Equator Principles IV, IFC PS, WB EHS).
• Experience with sector-specific E&S challenges and banking processes.
• Ability to engage with senior management and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead E&S due diligence for complex and high-risk transactions.
• Develop and implement E&S risk frameworks, policies, and exclusions.
• Guide front-line teams on ESG risk and transition pathways.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and CSO to embed E&S factors.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide market leadership.
