Job summary

Bank of Singapore seeks a senior sustainability professional to lead the development, implementation and governance of the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy. You will engage senior stakeholders across three lines of defence and collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance and Platforms to drive policy change.

The role emphasizes regulatory alignment, change management and building awareness of sustainable practices within OCBC Group’s global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; professional sustainability certifications are a plus.
• At least 10 years in sustainability with at least 3 years in banking preferred.
• Familiarity with financial products, services and processes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, client interfacing and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, independent in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong problem solving, execution focus and stakeholder management.
• Experience building or using AI and data tools is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, governance and continuous improvement of the Sustainability framework and policy.
• Manage governance forums related to Sustainability policy development and implementation.
• Monitor regulatory developments and lead change implementations for sustainability.
• Develop tools, processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with the framework.
• Support post-implementation reviews and solicit user feedback for policy effectiveness.
• Participate in audits, regulatory inspections and management deep dives related to sustainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across three lines of defence including Product, Risk, Compliance and Platforms.
• Support management in strategic programs and initiatives as required.
