Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking a senior sustainability policy leader to develop, implement and govern the Bank’s sustainability framework. You will engage senior stakeholders across the three lines of defence and partner with Risk, Compliance and Product teams to drive policy changes and enable business enablement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years in sustainability, including banking experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; sustainability certifications are advantageous.
• 10+ years in sustainability with banking experience preferred (3+ years in banking).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation abilities.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, governance and continuous improvement of the Sustainability framework and policy.
• Manage governance forums related to Sustainability framework and policy development and implementation.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess impacts and lead policy change implementations.
• Develop tools, processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with Sustainability framework and policy.
• Support post-implementation reviews and manage user feedback on policy effectiveness.
• Participate in audits, regulatory inspections, compliance testing and reviews of findings.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Platforms and Group Audit across three lines of defence.
• Support management in strategic programs and initiatives as required.
