Job summary

DBS Foundation seeks a VP/SVP, Business for Impact Specialist to lead initiatives that fund and scale social enterprises across Asia. The role bridges impact with business strategy, evaluating models, guiding portfolio companies, and coordinating with DBS ecosystem partners.

The ideal candidate brings grantmaking, venture philanthropy and strategic thinking to drive sustainable social impact, while engaging senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a lean team.

Qualifications

Experience in grantmaking and social funding models.
Understanding of impact metrics and beneficiary outcomes.
Strong business and financial acumen with ability to evaluate models.
Experience working with social enterprises, SMEs, investors or ecosystem partners is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead and support DBS Foundation’s Business for Impact initiatives including grants, awards and capacity-building programmes.
Identify and assess social enterprises with scalable, financially sustainable models across Asia.
Apply impact and business lens to evaluate applicants, including revenue models and growth strategy.
Design and deliver support for Businesses for Impact, including mentorship and ecosystem connections.
Build relationships with external and internal stakeholders to enable collaboration.
