Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Singapore seeks a Vice President to lead APAC CCOR Control Management, reporting to the team lead and collaborating with GFCC and Surveillance, among others. The role emphasizes independent judgment, challenging processes and influencing senior stakeholders across Compliance and related functions.

You will drive remediation efforts, maintain CORE data, and deliver governance reporting while promoting risk and control awareness across APAC CCOR. Mandarin skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of work experience in financial services, with at least 4 years in Compliance, Operational Risk, Internal Control, Audit or related disciplines.
• Ability to assess complex processes and controls and drive practical enhancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of issues and action plans, including root-cause analysis and sustainability assessment.
• Maintain regional and entity information within the CORE framework with CCOR stakeholders.
• Assess control environments, identify weaknesses, and drive remediation and enhancements.
• Prepare management information for governance forums and escalate material concerns to senior management.
• Build partnerships with APAC CCOR functions and global control teams to Deliver control priorities.
• Promote risk and control awareness and deliver targeted communications or training.
• Leverage data analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance control analysis and reporting.
