Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Singapore seeks a Vice President to join the APAC CCOR Control Management team, leading risk and control initiatives across the APAC region. You will report to the APAC CCOR Control Management team lead and collaborate with GFCC, Surveillance and internal audit partners.

You will influence senior stakeholders, manage complex issues, and drive sustainable remediation while promoting a strong risk culture across CCOR and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years in financial services with at least 4 years in Compliance, Operational Risk, Internal Control, Audit or related disciplines.
• Ability to assess complex processes and controls and recommend practical enhancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive matters to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of issues and action plans including root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Maintain information within CORE framework with CCOR stakeholders.
• Assess control environments and drive sustainable control enhancements.
• Prepare clear, concise management information for governance forums and committees.
• Build partnerships with APAC CCOR functions and global control teams.
• Promote risk and control awareness across levels and locations, including targeted communications or training.
• Leverage data analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance control analysis and reporting.
