Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore is seeking a Vice President: Control Manager in the APAC Chief Analytics Office to strengthen AI governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the firm’s data and analytics environment.

You will execute and coordinate AI risk and controls activities, work with cross‑functional partners, oversee control design and testing, and help prepare materials for regulatory inquiries and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data and Information Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with AI/ML risk management practices, including generative AI and lifecycle controls.
• Experience in financial services controls, information security, risk management, or compliance; knowledge of the three lines of defence.
• Strong understanding of compliance and operational risk management frameworks and risk assessment concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead across cross-functional initiatives and deliver improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure AI/ML risk controls align with AI/ML analytics standards and CORE content.
• Partner with APAC CAO/CDAO stakeholders to strengthen risk identification and control testing.
• Support risk and regulatory assessments and coordinate inputs across business and control partners.
• Develop and maintain control management framework documentation for AI/ML activities.
• Contribute to the APAC CAO control management community of practice and standards alignment.
• Review reporting and metrics to identify emerging risks and drive improvements.
• Prepare and review materials for regulatory queries, exams, and meetings; coordinate responses.
• Collaborate with Legal, Model Risk & Governance, Compliance, and Audit to maintain a well‑managed control environment.
