Job summary

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Vice President, Alternatives Fund Administration Manager to lead fund administration services within Alternatives Investment Services. You will oversee NAV calculations, engage clients, and drive AI-enabled automation while maintaining strong governance and control standards.

In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, manage audits, mentor team members, and ensure timely delivery of NAV inputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years in hedge fund accounting or similar.
• Exposure to AI or digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely NAV calculations (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Engage in client-facing activities and address queries promptly.
• Champion AI and digital solutions to boost automation and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely NAV inputs per SLAs.
• Analyze fund movements and advise on escalations in NAV production.
• Maintain strict adherence to policies, controls and governance.
