Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President, Alternatives Fund Administration Manager to oversee fund administration within Alternatives Investment Services, ensuring accurate NAV computations and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

This role partners with clients and internal stakeholders to drive automation, AI adoption, risk controls, and continuous improvement while mentoring a high-performing team and guiding onboarding of new funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Typically 8–12 years of experience in Hedge Fund Accounting.
• Exposure to AI/digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly, monthly NAV calculations.
• Engage with clients to address queries promptly.
• Champion AI and digital solutions for automation and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely NAV inputs.
• Analyze fund movements and advise on NAV escalations.
• Ensure adherence to policies and robust governance.
