Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Alternatives Fund Administration Manager to oversee fund administration services within Alternatives Investment Services. The role ensures accurate NAV production and robust controls, partnering with clients and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in hedge fund accounting, CPA preferred, and a track record in AI/digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and risk mitigation. Leadership and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8–12 years of Hedge Fund Accounting experience.
• Exposure to AI driven initiatives or digital transformation projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly NAV calculations in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage with clients professionally and address queries promptly.
• Champion AI and digital solutions to enhance automation and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely NAV inputs under SLAs.
• Analyze fund movements and advise on escalations in NAV production.
• Uphold robust controls and governance standards.
• Manage audit processes for assigned funds and respond to requests.
• Communicate updates, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Develop and mentor team members to foster high performance.
• Understand fund structure and investment strategy; support business vision.
• Assist in client onboarding and launches.
