Job summary

The Bank of New York Mellon in Singapore seeks a Vice President, Middle Office Collateral Management, to lead the Integrated Middle Office Solutions team, delivering high-quality collateral operations support to clients and counterparties.

You will drive governance, risk controls, automation and AI-enabled workflows, mentor a high-performing team, and partner with Relationship Management, Product and Risk to scale services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 10–15 years in collateral management, derivatives operations, middle office or related financial services functions, including people leadership responsibilities.
• Proven leadership experience delivering operational excellence and strong client outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of collateral management, reconciliations, dispute resolution, operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Collateral Operations team with accountability and client focus.
• Provide oversight of collateral management, dispute resolution and reconciliation activities with timely, high-quality support.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex issues, inquiries and margin disputes to drive effective resolution.
• Maintain a strong control environment through governance, risk management and audit adherence.
• Partner with Relationship Management, Product and Risk to support growth and client experience.
• Lead readiness for new client onboardings, product launches and expansion initiatives.
• Champion AI-enabled solutions, digital tools and workflow automation to improve productivity and controls.
• Develop and utilize data analytics and reporting to identify trends and deliver business insights.
• Support process reengineering and transformation to increase scalability and reduce risk.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and risk metrics to inform strategic decisions.
